What We're Raising Money For:
It costs over $180,000 to send teens and their leaders to the seven overnight adventure camps we host each year. Much of this cost is covered by the registration fees campers pay, but a significant portion of the cost to send each person is covered by generous donors like you! Furthermore, we give out scholarships to families going through financial hardship and leverage opportunities like this for campers to raise funds for their own individual registration fee.
How Does The Wingathon Work?
Below, you will be prompted to enter the name of the person you are supporting, then pledge a donation amount per wing they consume, with the option to enter a maximum donation. On Friday, May 30th, at 6:00pm, you then can watch your dollars at work via livestream as participants do their best to eat as many hot wings as possible within thirty minutes. After the event, we will run your card based on your pledged donation amount per wing or maximum donation, whichever is smaller. If donating toward a specific teen attending camp, your contributions will not be tax-deductible, but all contributions to leaders or general scholarships are tax-deductible.
